The history of the Dead Sea goes back thousands of years.

The Dead Sea contains a unique solar irradiation, an increased oxygen density, a high density salty sea with an unusual salt composition, thermo-mineral springs and a special natural mud. 

The waters of The Dead Sea contain 26 minerals including magnesium, calcium, bromine, and potassium, and others, 12 of which are found in no other sea or ocean.

Some are recognized for imparting a relaxed feeling, nourishing the skin, activating the circulatory system, and for easing rheumatic discomfort and metabolic disorders.

The Dead Sea is the lowest point on earth: 399 meters lower than the Mediterranean. It is also the saltiest place, with a degree of salinity which varies between 26% and 33%.

Since ancient times, these mineral salts have endowed the waters of The Dead Sea with exceptional properties: Cleopatra and the Queen of Sheba bathed in it to preserve their skin’s youthful appearance and to keep it impeccably clear.
